Olivia Nguyen, DMD

RESTORATIVE, GENERAL, & COSMETIC DENTISTRY

Dr. Olivia Nguyen, originally from North Andover, MA obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and business from the University of Vermont. Afterwards, she worked in oral health research at The Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, MA focusing on inflammation: a critical link between oral and systemic diseases. She worked alongside colleagues to develop preventative treatments and enhance therapeutics involving a new class of anti-inflammatory mediators. These mediators have proven to resolve inflammation which plays a major role in gum disease, diabetes, and heart disease. Working in this setting gave her a unique perspective not only in research but also in patient care. Collaborating with scientists and dentists of varying specialties from all over the world, inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry.
